SkyDry™ Limited Warranty IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

SkyDry™ products are provided “AS IS” and with all faults. This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by SkyDry, its owners (including Joseph), affiliates, and successors (collectively “SkyDry”).

Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of original purchase by the first retail purchaser only (non-transferable).

Warranty Registration Requirement To be eligible for any warranty coverage, the original purchaser must register the product online at [SkyDry website] or by completing and returning the registration form within 30 days of purchase, providing proof of purchase, serial number, aircraft details (if applicable), and contact information. Failure to register voids this Limited Warranty.

What is Covered SkyDry warrants that the main control unit, enclosure, and factory-assembled components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use when installed, operated, and maintained strictly in accordance with the Owners Manual.

During the warranty period, SkyDry will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective covered component. This repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser. SkyDry’s total liability shall in no event exceed the original purchase price of the defective component.

Any repaired or replaced component is warranted only for the remaining portion of the original 12-month warranty period. SkyDry will make reasonable efforts to complete repairs or replacements within 30 days of receipt, but time is not of the essence.

What is NOT Covered (in addition to all items listed in the Owners Manual)

  • Desiccant media, filters, hoses, adapters, and all consumables
  • Oil contamination, moisture intrusion, or performance issues due to installation, maintenance, or environmental factors
  • Any damage resulting from failure to follow all instructions, warnings, and cautions in the Owners Manual
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Unauthorized modification or repair
  • Use outside the specified parameters or on non-recommended engines/aircraft
  • Consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages of any kind (see below)

Owner Responsibilities To maintain any warranty coverage, you must:

  • Install, operate, and remove the system exactly as described in the current Owners Manual
  • Use only genuine SkyDry parts and follow all safety warnings
  • Perform all recommended inspections and maintenance
  • Ensure the aircraft is returned to normal configuration (especially reinstalling the oil dipstick and removing the ice hole cover) before every flight
  • Provide proof of compliance with all manual instructions when making a warranty claim

Assumption of Risk The SkyDry system is an accessory intended for supplemental use only. The purchaser and user assume all risk associated with its installation, use, and removal on aircraft. Use of this product does not relieve the pilot in command of full responsibility for aircraft airworthiness, pre-flight inspections, and compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and aircraft manufacturer recommendations. SkyDry is not liable for any flight-related decisions or outcomes.

Limitation of Liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SkyDry shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including (but not limited to):

  • Engine damage or corrosion
  • Loss of aircraft use, downtime, or lost profits
  • Personal injury, death, or property damage
  • Any other economic or non-economic loss

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. No oral or written statements by SkyDry or its representatives create any additional warranties. No agent, employee, or representative of SkyDry has authority to modify this Warranty.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution This Limited Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under this Warranty shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Livingston County, Michigan. All claims must be brought within one year of the date the issue is discovered or should have been discovered. SkyDry may, at its option, require binding arbitration in Michigan under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Severability If any provision of this Warranty is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Warranty Claim Process Contact SkyDry support with proof of purchase, proof of registration, serial number, and a detailed description of the issue. SkyDry may require return of the product (or component) for inspection at the customer’s expense (shipping unless otherwise approved in writing). All determinations are at SkyDry’s sole discretion.

By purchasing or using a SkyDry™ system, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the full terms in both this Warranty and the Owners Manual, including the broad Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Assumption of Risk sections.
